FAQs

1. How much does a home inspection cost?

Our home inspections are competitively priced starting at only $250.00, depending on the age and square footage of the property.

We will give you an exact quote when you call to set up the appointment.

2. Should I attend the home inspection?

Whether you are buying or selling, you should be at the inspection in order to be able to understand any issues that may come to light as a result of the inspection. We want to make sure that you are well informed about your potential investment, before you get to the close of the transaction.

3. How long does and inspection take?

The inspection will be 2 hours at a minimum and can increase by size and age and additional systems inspected. We should be able to give you an idea of the length of the inspection when you call to set it up.

4. How quickly will I receive a report?

We will give you a verbal report and walk you through the inspection immediately following the inspection. You will receive a digital report complete with color photos within 24-48 hours of the inspection.

5. I am purchasing a new home. Do I really need an inspection?

YES! Even if a home is brand new, things can go undone or even need repair. You can't go wrong investing a little to save a lot.

6. Do I need a sewer scope?

We recommend a sewer scope on properties 20 years or older. Sewer issues are one of the leading claims for warranty companies. For this reason, Inspection Connection offers detection and protection with our FREE Sewer Guard policy.

7. Why do people have ducts scoped?

We recommend having slab ducts scoped when there is little air flow and/or rust and deterioration are present. This ductwork is under the concrete slab and cannot be inspected otherwise.
